Is This Dead?
Ok...I would like to know if this is dead. I've checked this forum and the one on the Nexus for about 5 days with almost no updates. Trust me, if we are no longer interested in this, or are too busy, I wont be too sad to leave, seeing as I too have things I could be doing intstead. Come on, and be honest. I dont want people to "hang on" this project because they are worried about disappointing anyone. Trust me, Jumping ship right now seems like a damn good idea to me if thhis is going to be our level of progress from now on. I'd just as soon save all this space on my computer you know! I really really really like card games more than this, and have a much better time making those. While I cannot seem to make one people are able to play (seeing as interest in my area is all but nonexistent) i want to find a way to spread my games. I personally would frankly rather drop this project just to pick up one of those, simply because I can do that myself for the most part, and i dont need people to do things for me other than play it. So come on, have some respect and tell me if you actually want to continue so i can get on with things i may actually want to do. If everyone is still interested, then i'll stay, but otherwise, cya later...

it is not dead, you are just at the stage of mod makeing what i am at, it is just that the idea has been told and people do not know much more because we all know what to do, and like with my topic on the forum i have had bearly anyone posting but that is just because people do not care about it much any more, but that does not mean my mod is dead, like i am still makeing my mod and posting about it, and just because no one has really posted anything that does not mean the mod is dead, the same with yours. it is just that the big bang of your mod idea on the forum has now settaled down and is quiet but still very much alive. so by saying this ''mod is dead'' that is not true but the only thing what has happend it has just went abit quiet, for the time being
Dead or not, I dont have time for this anymore, I simply cannot fit it intomy schedule. I NEED to get good grades on my midterms, I need to start paying attention in math otherwise i am going to be screwed for the quarter, I need to think about where i am going to college, I need to FINALLY get my damn permit, I need to get cracking on my documentary, I need to pick up the pace on my other research project for english---My life is not at the best point to set all of it aside for a project of this magnitude...what I dont understand is why you all dont just continue with it, and just make it whatever you want because we have already done so much for the icy theme in terms of textures and such. Please believe me when I say that if I absolutely did not have to leave this project, I would not. I'm just at that stage in life where you need to go through this huge prioritizing phase and really think about what is going to happen LATER rather than just now.
as i already hyave said this mod is not dead, and if you leave the mod now, who will take command? because i think this may make some major problems in the team if you leave because not everyone in the team are really that connected together, we are only really connected through you. if you go we will not know who is incharge or how the mod should be like and we would make the mod parts what we are working on completly diffent to the others with no propper idea of how to make it and what to do so tthe mod would basicly fall apart and would distroy itself without you.this is what i would do then if you are having big problems with doing the mod...
* DOWN SIZE THE MOD, THIS WILL MAKE IT SIMPULER AND QUICKER TO DO
*IF YOU HAVE NO TIME ON THE CS TRY AND GET YOUR FRIENDS ON THE FORUM TO DO THEM BUT KEEP THEM INFORMED SO THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO.
*TRY AND NOT USE SO MANY DIFFENT TEXTURES AND MESHES FOR THE MOD, THIS WILL BE LESS STRESSFULL AND MUCH QUICKER TO DO.
*IF YOU HAVE JUST DONE LOTS OF WORK AND ONLY HAVE A FEW MINS ON THE CS OR NOT, I SUGGEST THAT YOU LISSEN TO SOME MUSIC YOU LIKE WHAT WILL NOT STRESS YOU, SO CALM MUSIC, SO THIS WILL HELP YOU TO NOT STRESS OUT ON THE CS AND JUST GIVE UP HALF WAY THROUGH.
*HAVE A DRINK OF COCO OR SOME THING TASTY BUT NOT HIGH IN CAFFINE UNLESS YOU ARE TIRED, THIS WILL HELP YOU RELAX ON THE CS, BELEVE ME IT HELPS WITH ME.
just do simple things like this if you are finding it hard to do and if you have not alot of time to do it.
